This place rules. A washboard dirt road leads 5 miles off
into the distance and drops you at a fantastic break known to some as "Shipwrecks."
The camping will cost you $5 a night for a place to pull up and unhitch
your wagon. There is a decent pit toilet and incredible rights peeling
along the shoreline. It was incredible the night we pulled in but
too late to surf.
The next morning was a full moon high tide and the water was unpredictable,
funky and dangerous. We will certainly try to hit it again
on our way back north and hopefully have some better timing. The
local collection agent, Raymond, even gave me a jump start after I killed
the Clipper's battery while filling a leaky tire.
