It felt good to get back to the hood after a frazzling day doing
business in the city. I took a hair raising bus ride down the coast
to Cabo San Lucas, land of the excess in a land in need, where I spent
the day looking for a clean telephone line and trying to handle some pressing
financial matters. I was able to take care of business under the
oppressive heat of the city and managed to take in a few sights as well
(mainly overweight tourists with bad hats and severe sun stroke) before
sprinting back to el Centro for the bus-from-hell-cow-dodge-ride back to
Pescadero. After a short hitch and a short walk, I arrived home to
find my homies hanging in the Barrio.
