The Baja Seasons Resort was more than a welcome site
after a hair ball morning trying to change money at the border and negotiate
Tijuana's ramshackle roadways. We made it out of the city just fine
though and I promised, then and there, that I would return someday to drink
from her beautifully shallow streets.
We headed down the 'New Road' toward Ensenada and paid the tolls just
for piece of mind. Once out of Tijuana's shadow, Mexico gave us a
pleasantly scenic drive along the rugged Pacific Coastline. We headed
as far south as daylight would allow, arriving at the Baja Seasons
with enough time to jacuzzi, Corona in hand, beneath a rocking sunset.
