DJFalstaff and I gathered Max and his collected baggage at Midway Airport in Chicago 2 nights ago and now J.S.tramp is along for the ride. Spent the evening in a serious haze, floating about a foot from the ceiling as we unwound from yesterday's 12 hours on the road driving a ticking time bomb, wondering when and where the next breakdown would occur. It hasn't yet so we are going to stay the course and make for the homeland of Colorado. Gotta make a quick stop in Western Minneapolis first though for some auto work and a possible stop at the most heinious of beasts, the Mall of America, then it's on the road again...
